Regular inspection or replacement of lifting equipment is vital if potentially serious failures are to be avoided. The harsh conditions of the offshore industry require a robust management system to be in place whereby you can demonstrate that equipment is regularly inspected and /or replaced

Sparrows have long experience of providing loose lifting equipment services and have built up a considerable stock of equipment for hire. Whether as part of a contract for management of all mechanical handling equipment or as a stand alone service, Sparrows can provide all types of certified lifting equipment;

• Rigging loft containers fully equipped for transportation and subsequent control of rigging gear
• Lifting equipment – chain, lever, wire rope and pneumatic hoists, beam clamps and trolleys, sheave blocks
• Working at Height equipment – inertia reels, harnesses, lanyards
• Accessories – slings (wire and fabric), shackles, eyebolts, crane pendants

If on site inspection and re-certification of your lifting equipment is more appropriate to your operation, then we can mobilise Lifting Equipment Examiners, who can also inspect your fixed lifting equipment (runway beams, padeyes, etc.).
